MAP Green, a division of Magnusson Architecture and Planning, PC, is dedicated to state-of-the-art green design and consulting services for neighborhood planning, new buildings and renovations. We can assist with all project phases, including stand-alone feasibility studies, conditions surveys, and post-occupancy evaluations.
Our LEED® accredited staff are trained in all aspects of a green project - from the design kickoff charette through detailed technical specifications through completion of construction. We have helped many green projects to receive NYSERDA funding, Energy Star ratings and LEED certification. Because sustainability is an on-going concern, it involves both the “permanent” physical qualities of a building – the structure, finish materials and MEP systems, as well as the more changeable usage patterns of its occupants. We work closely with our clients to evaluate and integrate both these aspects of their projects and to arrive at cost effective solutions that will remain sustainable over time.
